Pepperoni Cheese Bread
Most of the quick bread recipes I find are sweet quick breads. This was a nice change of pace to find a recipe for a savory quick bread.
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup bottled Italian dressing
- 1 5 oz. jar Old English cheese spread
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp soda
- 1 cup diced pepperoni
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 9 by 5 loaf pan. In a mixer, blend first four ingredients until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend until mixed. Gently add flour and mix until flour is just moistened.
- Pour batter into greased pan; smooth top with spatula. Bake 50 to 55 minutes until done. Insert a toothpick into the center to see if done. Immediately remove from pan and serve warm. Store in refrigerator.
