Basic Seasoning Salt
Handy to have one shaker instead of a dozen. Mix ingredients and keep in a shaker to use on meats, eggs in casseroles just about anything. Once you try it you will use in on most everything. Feel free to adjust the amounts or ingredients.

Yummo and so easy! In a large skillet or pot, heat about two inches of oil to 350 degrees F. Place one slice of mozzarella on a wonton wrapper, top with 1 tomato slice and basil leaf.

Swiss Cream Steak
Makes a tender rich meat dish from a cheaper cut of meat. Flour and season the steak with salt, pepper and paprika, brown in the melted shortening. After you turn the meat add onions, sour cream and grated cheese.

"Can't Be" Beet Jelly
Combine beet juice, lemon juice, and pectin in large pan. Bring to a rolling boil. Quickly add sugar and boil for 6 minutes. Add Kool-aid powder and mix thoroughly.

Bean and Vegetable Soup
Rinse beans; then place in a large pan with 3 quarts water. Bring to boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and let stand for 1 hour.

Cinnamon Popcorn
So much cheaper than buying it and so good. Mix all but popcorn and bring to a boil, boil one minute. Add popped corn, shake well to distribute syrup. Microwave 1 minute, shake again and microwave one minute again.

Spicy Cilantro Salad Dressing or Dip
Place lime juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cilantro, green onions, and jalapeno peppers together in a blender or food processor. Process until well blended and smooth.

Stuffed Cornish Hens
Just 2 ingredients, for some easy, quick 'Chicken' and Stuffing'. Mix contents of stuffing box with amount of water given in directions. Stuff both hens, should have some left over, spoon into corner of baking pan or put in separate pan.

15 Minute Taco in a Pan
Quick and easy, what more needs said! Brown meat in large skillet, drain. Add water and seasoning, mix. Bring to boil. Stir in rice.

Homemade Taco Sauce

Mashed Potato Stuffing
Peel potatoes and cook. While potatoes cook fry sausage until thoroughly cooked. Remove from pan and cool slightly. Slice sausage into 1/2 inch rounds and then into quarters, set aside.
