I took this picture in July while fishing the Ohio River. This is my family's favorite place to fish. We love sitting on the river bank watching the sunset.

Giant Rag Weed in Garden
Garden: What Is This Plant? (Giant Ragweed)Not long ago, I asked the ThriftyFun community to help me identify this strange, rapidly-growing plant that mysteriously appeared in my perennial garden. I received replies ranging from wild lettuce to hog weed, but none were correct.

Calf Feeding from It's Mother
Newborn CalfThese photos are from my friend who lives in Illinois. This lady does it all. She "runs" a nice farm, spins her own animals' fleece into yarn, bakes all her own bread in a wood stove oven and generally lives a very simple, happy life.

Red, White, Blue BouquetIt's always great when the right flowers bloom at the same time. This bouquet is made up of red roses, white daisy, blue delphinum set off by bells of Ireland. I germinated the seed for bells of Ireland and had an abundance.
