Wildlife: Danger and Elegance

Everyone knows that bees can sting and can be dangerous, especially if one is allergic. In this photo I tried to capture the essence that dangerous and beautiful things often accompany each other. The bee needs the flower and the flower needs the bee.

This is not to say we need dangerous things to survive, but I think it shows a little about taking risks or not always thinking something or someone fits in a specific category (ex: bee means danger). I really liked how the colors of the bee, the flowers, and the grass in the background contrast to another.

Just so everyone will know, there is now a series of shots that will stop the effects of bee stings for those who are allergic. My grandson was fatally alergic to stings and was told he would die if he was stung again. He took the series of shots ans is now imune to the stings. We need bees.

Emmy12, thank you for the picture you've put into my mind - you get my vote! And Lilac, I'll be sure to tell my son about that series of shots. He's also fatally allergic. JPJ
