I had gone out of the house to the front to pick up my morning newspapers when lo and behold, straight down the sidewalk came 2 beautiful wild turkeys strutting along! I was quite near them.

Arctic Red GeraniumThe Arctic Red ivy geranium is one of my favorites. It blooms well and is a deep maroon in color. It appears to glow in direct sun, and is a very beautiful shade. I always have one of these in my geranium garden, as its beauty and calming hue is very appealing.

Garden: White Blossom (Shore Acres State Park,...During our last visit to Shore Acres State park, I found a flower in which I absolutely could not ignore. Its white reminded me of innocence and marriage while its hints of yellow, in my opinion, hinted at the beauty within innocence and marriage.

Large Group on Trees in the Oregon Forest
Scenery: Forest Through The Trees (Shore Acres...Walking the gardens of Shore Acres State Park is always a treat. During one visit, my husband and I decided to try something different. We went down to the beach and crossed a rickety old bridge, leading us into the wilderness.

Garden: 59th Anniversary Tree RoseDaughter gave us this Yellow Rose Tree for out 59th last Aug. It seems to like it's spot in the front yard. It has had several roses already and now it has gotten up under the roof line of the house.
