Removing Mice From Our Home? For the first time in my life, I have a mouse problem. I also have two lazy cats. The mice are in two of my kitchen cupboards. I've repeatedly cleaned them out using bleach and peppermint oil but my mice seem to like it! I then bought two humane traps. I've had them down nearly 2 weeks and not a nibble. I used peanut butter, then cheese. I don't want to kill them, I'd just like them to leave! Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Remedy for Stomach Bloating?I've always had a problem with stomach bloating. I'm not overweight, BMI of 22. A bloated stomach looks awful and can be uncomfortable. I'm a vegetarian and I'm aware some foods I eat will contribute to this problem and that I also need to chew my food properly. This has been going on for years. Clearly it is not life threatening, but such a nuisance! Has anyone had this problem and solved it?

How to Make a Squirting Aerosol Spray Again?Hi! I just wondered if there's an easy fix for this problem. I've thrown away countless spray cans, usually because they don't spray. The product just dribbles or squirts out. Thanks in advance!

Organising a Chest Freezer?I am hoping for a bright idea! My chest freezer is quite large, and has 3 baskets on top. I know I'm disorganised, but I can never find what I want without loads of trouble! I do realise it's my own fault for just hurling things in after a shop! I once put cardboard boxes in the bottom to try and help. It did a bit, but not enough.

Alternative to Dawn Dish Soap in the UK?I live in England and keep reading about how good Dawn dish soap is for killing fleas on dogs, but they don't seem to sell it over here! This is a long shot, but has anyone any idea what the equivalent would be?

Christmas Cactus Blooms Droopy?I was just wondering if anyone has any idea why the blooms on my 2 Christmas cacti have been weedy and droopy for the last two years. The year before they fell off too; the foliage looks fine. Before this, they had a lovely display.

Lightening Dark Roots?I just wondered if anyone can advise me, please? I regularly use Olia hair colour in a light blonde shade. My natural hair is light brown with quite a bit of grey. I have the problem, when checking my hair at the back, dark roots are very obvious at the back of my head even after just dyeing the roots.

Cat Won't Eat Cat Food?My cat, Raisin is so fussy with his food. He'd sooner die than eat mere cat food! He will eat the dog's raw food, but only the chicken and liver mince. Am I being had? He's perfectly fit, a fairly big cat. He's a big black longhair, very good tempered and loving, and seems perfectly healthy, with a lovely shiny coat. Has anyone any ideas of what I could get for him to try?

Stray Cat HelpI've kind of been donated a cat. I've been feeding him for the past year. His owners live on my street, but he won't go home. The lady asked me today if I'd look after him as they are moving houses and he is an "outside cat" and refuses to be caught.

Replacement for Bed Slats on a Single Bed Frame? My granddaughter's bed has those wooden slats on her bed frame. While she's been with me, they've come off several times and a few have broken. I need to find something to replace them with. I've had a look around the place but nothing jumps out as being any use. So then I looked online for wooden planks. They'd need to be about 3 feet long (36, or possibly 37 inches to fit across) but I got quite confused as I'm only used to feet and inches, even now. Also they seem quite expensive. She's quite a heavy girl and not the daintiest! I just wondered if anyone had a brainwave? Mine are sadly lacking! Thank you!

Alternatives for Lidless Pans?I seem to be very unlucky with my saucepan lids. I now have several lidless pans! I just thought I'd ask you clever people on here if you have any idea what I could use as a replacement? Thanks! xx
