Adding Bra Strap Retainers to 100+ Choir Dresses?I would like to help out the local middle school choir teacher by adding some bra strap retainers into the 100+ choir dresses. (We currently have to safety pin the straps out of the way for each performance.)

Planning a Profitable Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser?I know Krusteaz Pancake Mix offers a partial refund of the cost of the mix after a pancake breakfast fundraiser. Does anyone know of any other companies that do this?

Rubber Ducks Not Floating Upright?I purchased some small, but cute, rubber ducks for a Winter Carnival Duck Pond. I now find the ducks will not float upright but fall over to one side. Does anyone have any ideas on how to weight them or another way of doing them without water?

Suggestions for Library Crafts?I work part-time at a local library and I love it. One of my jobs is to teach an Adult Craft Class once a month. I was doing okay, mostly, until we closed to the public for Covid19. I now have to do my crafts via videos.

Smooth Iron Sole Plate Cover?I am looking for a cover that goes on an iron to cover up the steam holes and gives a smooth surface to the iron sole plate. I am doing some work with large iron-on transfers and the holes from the sole plate make "bubbles" in the transfers.

Quick and Easy Chocolate Truffles?I have lost a recipe I had for chocolate truffles made using sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips. You use the microwave to melt them together, then add other ingredients. If this sounds familiar to anyone, I would appreciate any help with this.

Alternatives to Fundraising Thermometer?I am in my last year of chairing the high school band's annual citrus sale (oranges, grapefruit, juice oranges, and tangelos) and we have set a lofty goal this year. I want to make a visual to put in the band room to show our progress to the goal, but don't want to use a thermometer.

Game Ideas for Red Hat Luau Birthday Party?I and a friend are hosting a Red Hat August birthday party in a couple of weeks with a luau theme. The food and decorations are no problem, but coming up with fun games that can be done easily by a group of ladies of differing abilities aged low 50s to high 90s is difficult.

Transferring VHS to DVD?About a year ago, I saw an article and review of a self-contained device that transferred VHS tapes DVD-Rs without the use of a computer or TV. I saved the article, but now can not find it.

High School Band Fund Raiser Prize Ideas?I am the chair of our high school band's annual fruit sale fundraiser. For the past several years we have given cash prizes to the top sellers, but the same kids seem to win every year (or their siblings).

Pattern for a Snood Using Acrylic Yarn?I am looking for a pattern to make a snood, also called a caul, from yarn for a heavier weight look. I have several wonderful patterns for snoods made from "thread" or light ribbons, but none make-up well in yarn (regular acrylic).

Bandage Stuck to Scab of Wound?I cut off about 1/16th" of my fingertip in the kitchen. We cleaned the wound and got it to stop bleeding for the most part (still oozed a little). We coated the area with Neosporin type ointment and put on a Band-aid type bandage. When I went to remove the bandage the pad was firmly stuck to the new scab.

Mature Hairdo for Prom Chaperone?I will be chaperoning a prom for my teenage daughter's group and I need help with hairstyles. My hair is just past my shoulders (maybe 2 inches past) and thinning on top. I am in my early 50's, heavyset and wear glasses.

Can I Serve Banana Splits in Paper Hot Dog Boats?I need a dish to serve banana splits in for my Red Hat party. Does anyone know if the paper/light-weight cardboard "boats" (like the ones hot dogs or fries are served in) are waterproof enough to serve an ice cream dessert? If not, any other ideas of a dish to use?

Planning a Fundraising Dinner? What is the best "meal" to serve at a fundraiser dinner held in the high school cafeteria? We need something that is good and filling, easy to prepare and serve, yet something people would come out to eat. Should it be all-you-can-eat or one-time plate?

Crochet Hat Pattern Search? In the late 1970s, probably '75 or '76, I made a crocheted hat from a pattern on the wrap strip of Aunt Lydia's Rug Yarn. I think it may have been called a "cloche", but none of the patterns I find on-line are quite the same.

Making a Lollipop Tree?I am trying to find instructions for make the "tree" used in a lollipop tree (where you pick a sucker with the colored end and win a prize). It will be used everyday for 2 weeks so it needs to be durable, sturdy and small enough to sit on a table.

Source for Cross Stitch Ornament Frames?I am making some small (2 or 3") cross stitch ornaments for several groups I am in and am in need of frames for them. Plastic is fine; round or oval is best, but I might be able to use rectangles.
