Thought youd all like to see the iron I use. ;-) I dont know what year its from but still works great. I got it from a friend of a friend when they were moving around 10 years ago and have used it ever since. Theres no hard pressing because it weighs 4lbs!

Reuse Salt Pour Spout With Canning Jars
Also cut the bottom out of the empty salt box to the same size and place it over the existing spout cut-out and replace the screw top of the canning jar. That will make it safe for travel and none of the contents will spill if the spout accidentally opens. =D
