Does anyone remember Love's BBQ restaurants? Alas, they are out of business in the US now but the memory of those yummy sandwiches inspired me to try this recipe.

Hobo BreadPour boiling water over raisins and soda. Add brown sugar, oleo, white sugar,and mix well. Beat eggs, vanilla, and add to mixture and mix. Add flour, mix well. Put dough in 9 (10 ounce) well greased soup cans.

Leftover Mexican CasseroleA layered dish of one large flour tortilla with refried beans salsa hamburger with seasonings a layer of cheese and a layer of black beans and rice with corn. Add more meat and cheese with tortilla chips on top.

Slow Cooker Zesty MinestroneA yummy full bodied meal when served with crusty bread smothered with unsalted butter and a mixed green salad tossed with a vinaigrette dressing.

Snow CreamMix vanilla, heavy whipping cream, and sugar in one bowl. Scoop up 2 cups of snow in a different bowl and then slowly pour the mixture of sugar, vanilla, and whipping cream into the bowl of snow, while stirring. Taste.

Turtle CakeMix cake according to box directions. Pour half of batter into a greased 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Melt caramels with butter and milk.

Spinach MoldSoften Knox gelatin in cold broth. Heat until warm. Add lemon juice. Add 1 cup salad dressing. Add spinach, eggs, pepper, onion, and bacon bits. Put in mold and refrigerate.

Mississippi SinGreat and easy appetizer our family really enjoys. Cut top off bread and hollow out the loaf, tearing into bite size pieces. Mix all ingredients together and pour into Hawaiian bread bowl.

Pork Chop Potato CasseroleBrown pork chops in a large ovenproof skillet. Peel and thickly slice potatoes. Place on top of pork chops. Cover with liquids. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees F. for 1 hour. Serves 4-5.

South of the Border Chicken (Crockpot)An all in one dish. Use enough salsa to cover bottom of crockpot. Next add tomatoes (used my own home made). Sprinkle in the herbs, lime juice and hot sauce. Add the chicken last.

Coconut Blueberry Coffee CakeDelicious! Spray 9x13 inch baking dish with PAM. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix butter with mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar beating well. Add eggs and beat well.

Leftover Vegetable Rice SoupTake leftover rice and break it up with a fork. Add frozen peas and canned tomatoes cut in small pieces. Cover with water or chicken broth or vegetable broth. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Soup is ready, enjoy!

Mocha CappuccinoThis is an alternative to the small "cans" of mocha cappuccino! Except for the instant coffee, I keep everything used in my cabinets all the time anyway. My hubby enjoys having a cup of cappuccino and reading in the evening before bed.
