Monty (Dog)

Monty is 5 months old. My husband rescued him, we have had him for 2 months. He loves to play with our other dogs. I must say his favorite thing is to ride on the 4 wheeler, boat, tractors and car rides.

I named him Monty because he has the spunk and personality. Even though he is little, he doesn't let that bother him. He acts just like my son.

Daytona (Husky Mix)

Daytona is a 9 year old Husky mix. We got him when he was just a little guy. He has been in our family for 9 years now. He is very loved just like the other pets that we have in our home. He likes to go for walks, play ball, take naps with his mom everyday, and to go where I go, if I can have him go with me. Daytona was born with hip problems and the vet said that he should not be walking at all, but he is and he is on medication for the rest of his life because of his bad hips.

Gaucho

We adopted Gaucho 3 years ago along with Poncho at an adoption festival. He loves to chase squirrels and birds. And one thing he does everyday is play with his brother and with a rubber duck. He is lovely and patient to the point that he doesn't even complain when we dress him up to be a star.

Ruthie (Tortoiseshell Tabbie)

Ruthie is a 21 year old Tortoiseshell Tabbie. She was abandoned and I found her covered with fleas. My other cat survived 15 years and needed to be put to sleep. So it was fortunate for both of us. She likes being boss of the house. She has outlived my other pets. If she were human, she would be close to 100. Brushing her teeth once a week has helped. She is still in good health.

Babe and Maggie (Boston Bull Terrier and Pekingese)

Babe and Maggie Age: 8 Breed: Boston Bull Terrier and Pekingese, respectively. My son picked out the Pekingese when she was a tiny baby. She came running up to him with a feather in her mouth. The Boston Bull was given to me about the same time!

Mitchel (Cat)

Mitchel is 7 months old. I got my pet cat Mitchel last year to replace my other cat (Lion) who ran away. The kids got Mitchel for me. They felt bad that Lion ran away since they left the front gate open just enough for him to get out. So they put together all the spare cash (including most of their allowance) to buy me a new one. I am very glad they did!

He is my best friend and the kids make sure they don't leave the front gate open. I am very happy that they used their own money to replace something that was mostly their doing and they got him from the pound. Our local pound was having an animal sale and they found him so they brought him. I still don't know how much he cost, they won't tell me. He loves putting his food everywhere, trying to get out the gate and ripping the lounges apart. Mitchel enjoys riding in and on the cars, meowing for food even when he has just got fed, sleeping in the kids' beds and riding in the kids' toy prams
