Walgreen's Monthly Easy Saver RebateWalgreen Drug Stores offer a monthly easy saver rebate where you can usually get 1 -3 items free of charge after rebate. Give Extras from the Garden to Your Local Food PantryI have just discovered a gardener's greatest harvest! Our local food pantry is now set up to accept fresh fruits and vegetables all year round, which means any harvest I have that I can't use automatically has a distribution point to be taken to for the benefit of others.

Baby Powder for Sandy KidsWe love to visit the beach in the summer and inevitably everyone gets covered in sand. My toddler hates the feeling of having the sand rubbed/brushed off his skin (especially if the sand is really wet and hard to get off).

Penny (Dachsund), 10 years young!Penny is a black and tan dachshund. She was the runt of her mother's second litter in August '95. We had both her mother and father and since we had to bottle feed her puppy milk we had to keep her! She enjoys walks in the local park!

The Hungry SquirrelNot sure if this qualifies for a pet, but I feed and water them just as I do my other pets. Only problem is the squirrels get up before I do. This is what I saw out my kitchen window this morning as I was pouring my first cup of coffee. The jar has popcorn in it and I usually spread it out on the blocks, but guess he was hungry and the blocks were bare.

Once I fed them, the other 10 or 12 showed up for breakfast buffet.

Always Use Seat Belts In CartsWhen shopping with young children please use the seat belts and child seats in buggies. I have seen children almost fall out or climb out themselves. You know it only "takes a second" for something awful to happen.

Keep Grocery Bags By Your DoorLeave a few grocery bags by your door. If you are working outside or forget something you can just slip them over your shoes so you don't have to take them off before walking across the floors and carpets.

Juicy Sliced BerriesIf you want juicy sliced berries, add a little sugar or corn syrup to them and let them chill in the fridge until you are ready to eat them. The sugar brings out the sweetness and the juice.

Scoop Ice Cream Ahead of TimeIce cream is the perfect dessert for a barbecue, and easy to serve if you scoop it ahead of time and put the scoops in cupcake liners, then freeze. Pop a scoop or two of ice cream into a bowl and add some sliced strawberries or peaches!
