Scrapbooking Certificates And Awards?I would like to put all my kids school awards/certificates, school pictures, etc. in a photo album or scrapbook. Which would be more appropriate? Scrapbook for Student Assignment?I've heard about the scrapbooking craze but have not been involved. My 13 year old son has been given a school assignment to create a scrapbook about himself. His instructions were to take each letter of the alphabet and give 2 words beginning with that letter to describe himself. He said the teacher suggested they use buttons "and stuff" to put on it. The project is due in about a week, so I assume it's not expected to be too grand. We've already come up with his words, and I thought about writing them in calligraphy form on the pages. Looking For Transfer Rub Paper?I am trying to find (or figure out how to make) the transfer paper that we used as kids to rub on a face shape, then choose hair, eyes, ears, nose and mouth to complete the picture.
I know it was a waxy type of paper and we could also rub the colored sunday comics and transfer them to another piece of paper.
I know there are tracing books for kids that allow them to complete faces, but I really want to find that waxy transfer paper that we used as kids in the 40s and 50s.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Scrapbooking With Junk Mail?Can i use the pretty pictures in junk mail to decorate my scrapbooking pages? I can't find an acid tester pen here, so how do I test them for acidity? My son suggested wetting a small portion then use a litmus paper to test acidity, is that ok?
