Organizing Your Book Collection
This is a guide about organizing your book collection. Have you ever not been able to find a book that you knew you had? Books are a great addition to any household, but they do take up a lot of space and require organization.
Light Bulb Wall Vase
Clean out the inside of an old light bulb to create a clever wall vase. Once opened and cleaned out, your new vase can hold water for fresh flowers, buttons, beads, or other small filler trinkets.
I make a new wreath each year for the Christmas holiday, but for this year, I decided to go a different route and try to make a different form of greeting for my door. After playing with a few ideas, I came up with this creation. My snowman is approximately 2 1/2 feet tall.

Centerpiece for July 4th 2011
We had this arrangement of flowers and flags on the BBQ table for Memorial Day, and now we will use it for 4th of July. I change the centerpiece decorations for fall and Christmas. In the spring, I use pastel colors.
I'm always getting oil and makeup on my home phone. I just wiped it down with some antibacterial gel and a paper towel, and it came out clean and shiny.

In Memory of Garfield (ThriftyFun Office Cat)
My 21 year old cat Garfield passed away peacefully last week. Garfield was know by many names over the years: Gar, G-Force, G, Smurfer, and, most recently, Cowboy.

WD40 to Remove Glue Residue from Bottles
I did not want to mar the surface so I took some WD40 and a soft cloth. I put the WD40 on the cloth, and gently rubbed until all the sticky glue was gone. I then washed my bottles and dried them to use for my craft.
