Homemade Glumpkies(Stuffed Cabbage)This old recipe is one we grew up on. My mom made these and they bring back such fond yummy memories!

 

Reusable Shopping Bag for Appliance CoverI had a vinyl cover for my food processor. It cracked and fell apart with age. I used a recyclable cloth shopping bag to cover it. I put the design side next to a wall, and tucked the handles in. I am pleased with the results.

 

Legs in the Middle of ParadiseI haven't felt free and refreshed for a very long time because of this pandemic. Yet, on this day, I felt like a rebooted phone right after.

 

BB and Uno (Dogs)These sweeties were on a kill list at a Memphis TN shelter. Both had health issues and had little chance of adoption. They were transported to Ohio for us by a Lab Rescue. BB has been cured of the mange she was suffering from, and Uno is currently midway through treatment for heart worm.

 

Flavored WaterThis is a trick I learned from my granddaughter. I put a tea bag in a quart jar of water, set it in the refrigerator and let it steep over night or longer. The next day, I have some great tasting flavored water to drink and I just add a little lemon juice to it. It is good and it helps me to be able to drink at least 2 quarts of water a day. One is flavored and the other is not.

 

No Mix Homemade Brown SugarBeing frugal isn't complicated. It tends to be just the opposite. Over the years, I've shown appreciation for tips submitted by littergitter, Sandi/Poor But Proud and others, that make things unbelievable simple. Here's one from me.

 

Value of Porcelain Doll?When I was 5, my neighbor gave me this doll before moving out. She was 60ish, I'm 13 now. The doll says 733FA on its neck. I'm not sure if it means anything or not and if it has anything to do with the price or date or whatnot. I can't find any date or anything on the doll. I want to sell the doll to get some extra money. How much would be reasonable to sell it for?

 

Bidding on Cleaning Apartment Complex?Advice needed from commercial cleaners! I need to bid on an apartment complex with 4 entrances 3 floors in each vacuuming and windows what should I charge? Not sure of sq ft but the floors aren't very big only 3 apartments on each floor.

 

Chandelier Value?We have been replacing lighting in our new home and would like to see if anyone could give us some information/potential value of this chandelier plus matching sconces. The home was built in the 1920s and these were original to the house. Thank you in advance.

 

Smart TV Damaged Screen View?I have a Samsung smart TV that fell from an entertainment center and hit the corner of it. The screen itself did not break but now it shows rainbow colored streaks and a place where the impact occurred. Can this be fixed? Is it worth fixing? What would the estimated cost be?

 

What Kind of Bug is This?I recently found these bugs in my bathroom along the baseboard, all dead. I have even seen one or two crawling inside my bathroom sink and even more in and around my tub. They are very tiny, moves slow. You can't see them on the dark floor but they stand out against the sink and tub. I took a swiffer and ran it along the wall and it was tons of them dead. Please help.

 

Garlic to Treat Worms in Dogs?I don't have money to go to a vet or buy any over the counter medications for my two dogs for worms. The only garlic have is minced garlic. Prince weighs about 20 lbs and Coco is probably about 30. Can anyone help me by letting me know how much I should use for both my dogs? I really don't know if one or both have them, but I do know that the worms are little white ones.
