With the 9/9/09 wedding day drawing ever nearer, I have decided that I want to spend no more than $500 on the whole thing. I have tailored down some ideas to create a great party while saving some extra money in the bank.

Bissell SpotBot ReviewsI have 2 products by Bissell. The SpotBot and the Pro Heat carpet shampooer. I will never purchase another Bissell product again. The SpotBot worked fine for a while, then started spewing water all over the place.

Fresh Mint for Air FreshenerI use fresh mint from my overgrown mint patch for air freshener. I gather a small handful and crush it up a bit, put a couple of bread ties or rubber band around it and hang it from the light fixture of the ceiling fan. I also put one hanging in front of the box fan.

Vinyl Blinds for Plant MarkersI take an old plastic mini-blind and cut the string to remove slats off the string. Then take 3 slats at a time stacked and flush, start your first cut at the hole for the strings, use that as a size guide cutting down the slat, using up the slat.
