Gentle Benjamin Louis Stephens was 18 years old. He was a Chow and Golden Retriever. I got Gentle Ben from a shelter in Pennsylvania; he was a 4 week old beaten puppy and his name was B.D for Battered Dog which we, of course, changed.

In Memory Of Hayley Girl (Jack Russell Terrier)I lost my Hayley Girl 11/30/2010, and I'm still missing her! She had been fine at Thanksgiving and five days later, I lost her. We had been for a long walk just the day before, which she so loved, and had missed, since my Mother has been so sick.

Tyson (American Bulldog/Boxer Mix)Tyson is a three year old rescue dog. His original owners tried to train him to fight, but he refused. They let their other, much bigger dogs attack Tyson, and they left him for dead. He was rescued by Animal Control, who then fostered him out to be nursed back to health.
