Do not hesitate to stock up on corn when there is a sale. Corn can be frozen, in the husks, in a pillowcase. Load up the pillowcase, fold the top over so it is closed, and place in the freezer. It will stay as fresh as the day it was picked.

Making Fried Green TomatoesI have a tomato vine that is full of large green tomatoes. It is so heavy with tomatoes, the wind blew the vine and the post over. On the good side, the vine is still living and we are enjoying fried green tomatoes.

Contact Company Directly About Food IssuesHave you ever purchased a food item whether it may be fresh, canned, frozen and you are not satisfied? Sometimes the item is spoiled or in my case moldy even before the expiration date, you could contact the company and provide your feedback.

How to Freeze Fruit Without StickingTo get your frozen fruit to not stick together, chop your fruit and lay it out on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Pop it in the freezer until frozen, then transfer to airtight freezer bags. I like to chop my fruit in same sized portions so I can count how many is a serving if I don't have time to weigh it.
