Kilz Primer is Very Watery?
I started covering a dark wall with Kilz, and had the same problem. I switched to Zinsser Bullseye Primer and had no problem. I think Kilz has changed formulas, because it used to be a lot thicker than it is now.

What Breed is My Dog?
My guess is Lab and Border Collie. We have an 18 month old that looks a lot like yours, and after some serious training, she is a fantastic dog.

Paint Colors for Kitchen with Burnt Orange Countertops?
If you want a rich look, Id go with a chocolate brown. A really clean and bright look would be to paint the walls white, and just let the orange be the color in the kitchen.

Recommendations for Vacuums?
My Dyson works great with 4 cats, and all their hair. Other than the latch my husband broke, I havent had a single problem with it, and it certainly doesnt lose suction (like the ads say). I used a 20% off coupon at Bed Bath and Beyond to get a good deal on...

Looking for Tiny Zip-Lock Bags?
I get them at a local craft store in the beading section. I think it was a box of 100 2 bags.

Stains on Gymboree Clothes?
Try OxyClean powder or spray. I got mustard out of my daughters shirt by soaking it in Oxyclean for 30 minutes, and adding more of the powder when I washed that load of clothes.

Losing A Feline Friend?
I am sorry for your loss. She was a member of your family, regardless of what others who dont understand might say. I lost my Sasha last year, after a brief illness. She was possibly the best cat I had ever had in my life, up to that point. There are still...

Listing Business Services Online?
Depending on your business, a local online directory site is a good option. If you are a member of a professional association, they might offer a directory on their site that will allow people to search for business in their particular area. If you are wanting...

My Dog's Tumor?
My parents rat terrier has several lumps that were basically fatty tumors. They are benign, and the vet said they would return if removed. I dont know if this is what you are describing, but it is something older dogs can develop. It comes down to how much...

Help With Muscle Spasms?
Find a massage therapist that does deep tissue work. I had muscle spasms in my lower back and shoulder from bad ergonomics at work, and my chiropractor recommended massage and heat in addition to what he was doing. It took several hour-long sessions (and some...

My Dog Is Afraid of Everything?
Melinda, I would definitely say dont give up - it may take years for the dog to become trusting. My poodle had been abused when I adopted her, and she was terrified of everything, too. It took a long time to get her to trust people, but once she got past her...

Filmy Glasses from Using Dishwasher Packets
Actually, it may just be the dishwasher and/or water temperature. We splurged and bought a Bosch last year, and I used the remainder of my Cascade detergent, only to have filmy glasses and silverware. I switched to Electrosol tablets, and havent had that problem...

Facial Scrub to Get Rid of Acne?
If you are using a scrub on a daily basis, you might try only using it every other day, or less. A dermatologist once told me that scrubbing too often will irritate your skin and cause it to produce more oil and acne. I use a store brand version of Cetaphil...

Cake is Moist in the Middle and Dry Around the Edges?
When I bake my decorator cakes, I use water soaked wraps by Wilton. They have a reflective surface, and help to even out the temperature by keeping the sides of the pan a little cooler. Do you have a thermometer in your oven? Your oven may be cooking at a higher...

Ionic Cell Cleansing Foot Bath?
I just read an article today on detoxification and how the products fool you into thinking they are pulling all these bad things from your body. Its well worth a read for anyone considering doing this. http://skeptoid.com/episodes/4083

Cooking Questions from an Amateur?
1. Generally, if you are reducing, you are creating a thickened sauce through evaporation, and this applies to fruits for pies and savory sauces. You also produce a more intense flavor by reduction, since you are causing the excess water (or broth) to evaporate...

Buying a Bread Machine New vs. Used?
