My Frugal Life: Waste Not, Want Not
My mother believed in "waste not, want not" and taught me to take good care of my belongings. If it were clothes I wore, they could be passed onto another and if it were toys, a younger child would get them.
Altered T-Shirt for Shoulder Surgery
Recently, I searched online for medical clothing needed after a rotator cuff surgery and noticed the cost of such alterations was in my opinion over priced. After gleaning a few items, I decided to give it my best DIY version that was less costly and worked just as well.
Angel (American Cocker Spaniel)
Angel 1 year old American Cocker Spaniel. We found Angel through a pet breeder in our area. My other two cocker spaniels died a year apart and we missed the companionship our dogs provided. I've learned so much about cocker spaniels and just had to have more.
Old Window Painting
This is a free hand acrylic painting done on an old window I gifted last year to a friend. She chose the theme, the colors, and supplied the window while I did the painting. This was my first experience doing a window.
Halo (American Cocker Spaniel)
Halo is 10 weeks old and is a AKC American Cocker Spaniel. After our pet died of liver cancer, we bought another cocker spaniel to fill the void our dog left. Halo was 8 weeks old when we got him and was born on Sept. 6, 2007.
