Bronze Tip Medal for All Time! 89 Tips

I am Gem, I live in beautiful Virginia.  I have a wonderful husband and 5 grown children.  I have one grandson who is the light of my life.

I am very crafty and make all sorts of things.  I can usually look at something and make it.

I do not crochet or knit.

I really love Thrifty fun.  It has some great things to make and ideas as well.

If I ever run out of ideas I come hre and browse.

This is my favvorite hangout! LOL

My Frugal Life: Cooking From ScratchWhen our children were growing up we had very little extra money. We got clothes and shoes from the thrift shop and only bought groceries that were on sale. We had barely enough each month to pay our bills.

Saving ButtonsOne of the things I remember from my childhood is my Mamaw's button box. She must have had a billion buttons in it. She kept a large tin box about 10 inches high full of buttons.
