Yummy, yummy in the tummy ;-)

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 5 oz can evaporated milk
  • 2 tbls butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 12 oz package white chocolate morsels
  • 1 1/2 tsp maple flavoring
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds or pecans, if desired

Combine sugar, milk, butter, and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue to stir constantly for 4 1/2 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

Stir in marshmallows, morsels and maple flavoring. Stir quickly for 1 minute.

Pour into 8 inch square baking pan (I prefer glass). Refrigerate until firm and then cut in to squares.

Maple Fudge II

Christmas is Fudge making time.. Here is a great recipe.

  • 2 cups maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup 10% cream
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Grease an 8 inch square pan. In a saucepan, bring to a boil maple syrup, cream and butter. Boil, uncovered, until a drop in cold water forms a soft ball (236 degrees F to 238 degrees F). Cool to lukewarm without stirring (110 degrees F). Beat until creamy, turn into buttered pan. Cut into squares.
