For years I've used baking soda to clean inside my refrigerator and freezer. I've found something I think I like better. Peroxide.

Isopropyl alcohol and a pair of scissors.

Clean Sticky ScissorsMy scissors are sticky from everyday usage (especially cutting adhesive and stickers, etc). You can easily clean your scissors with a little bit of isopropyl alcohol on a cotton oval pad. Wipe the scissor blades down carefully.

Vinegar and Dish Soap as Best Natural CleanerThe best natural cleaner for many uses is classic blue Dawn dish soap and white vinegar. Mix in a spray bottle 50/50, it works wonders in the shower, tubs, sinks, on stoves, and for pots and pans just to name a few.

Cleaning Picture Frame GlassJust remove the glass and place on a towel. Then take a Mr Clean eraser. Wet it down and start cleaning the glass. You can wring the water out some then rewet and wring out again as needed. When all the dirt and grime is all gone, then take a clean dry eraser and go over the glass to dry and remove all the streaks. It makes the glass clean and sparkling.

Clean Glasses With Magic EraserTake a Magic Eraser and cut it across the short side, into half-inch wide fingers. To clean glasses, rinse them with water or Windex, then wipe them with a Magic Eraser finger.

A tarnished chain that has been cleaned on the left hand side.

Toothpaste for Tarnished MetalI have an evening bag from my late mother. The chain was all tarnished. I was tucking in the chain and using it as a clutch. Someone suggested to use toothpaste and it did a great job. The photo shows the left side done so you can see the difference.

Isopropyl Alcohol for Lily Pollen Stains on CarpetLily pollen stains on carpet -- yes! Isopropyl alcohol 99.9% really reaches the stains other cleaners cannot reach. Having tried soap and water, carpet cleaner, etc. I thought that the stains were simply made worse and permanent by my attempts.
