Simple Shrimp Salad
In large salad bowl, add lettuce, celery, shrimp. Mix together sour cream, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Toss together lightly; add paprika and salt, to taste.
Italian Beef Sandwich
Combine consomme,' ketchup, onion, green pepper, water, garlic and oregano in large saucepan or frying pan; heat to boiling. Add beef, cover and cook slowly 25-30 minutes.
Fried Cornmeal Mush
First had this stuff in elementary school. I loved it then and I still do!
Combine the crushed wafers and melted butter, and press into a 9 inch springform pan. It helps to use a drinking glass to press the mixture. Set the crust aside, as you do not need to bake it.
It's easy and anybody can prepare it in a snap of finger for breakfast. Wash hands, Mix egg, salt, curry, garlic - beat very well. Heat oil on a frying pan at medium heat.
Cheesy Rice Corn Dish
This is a nice side dish to take to pot luck dinners or to serve with supper. Freezes well, also! Prepare rice as directed on package. Mix rice together with cheese and mushroom soup in large bowl. Stir in drained Mexicorn, combining well.

Toasted Coconut Carrots
Cook carrots in salted water until tender. Drain and add butter. Toss carrots until all are covered. Cool. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a plastic bag. Add carrots to bag and shake to coat carrots.
Best Buttercream Frosting
Beat until mixture is thick and creamy. Add more powdered sugar for frosting thick enough for pastry tube decorator. Add food coloring if you like.
Removing Moss from Asphalt Roof Tiles
For the past 30+ years I have done the following; dilute plain laundry bleach with water, one part bleach and three parts water. Apply with a pump garden sprayer. Apply when the moss is reasonably dry and thirsty, like several days after the last rain.

Grate Soap to Form New Bars
Buy bar soap at rummage and garage sales-any kind including guest soaps. They can be beat-up, dried up, broken,etc. Grate them up with a coarse grater and add in any leftover soap slivers you may have on hand.

Sweet Tomato Soup
Whenever I wanted something sweet for lunch, I would get a packet of instant tomato soup, heat up some hot water, then add 2 Tbsp. of cremora and a packet of sweetener. It really quenched my sweet tooth, not to mention a healthy lunch.
