Recipe: Puff Puffs (African Doughnuts)

This is a very simple and cheap desert. It takes about 10 minutes to mix and cook the puff puffs, and they are delicious! This is something you can make when you are out of everything, and just want something sweet!

Cabbage and Ground Beef CasseroleFry ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.

Lemonade ChickenI like this because you can cook it in your crockpot and not worry about it till you are ready to make the gravy. The lemonade tenderizes the chicken and gives it a delicious flavor.

Chocolate Chip Coffee CakeA tasty sour cream coffee cake with a streak of chocolate chips in the middle!

Cottage Cheese PieA family favorite. With a mixer beat the cottage cheese until nearly smooth. Add whipping cream. Set aside.

Cheeseburger BakeA "comfort food" recipe that feeds a larger family. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Generously grease 13x9x2 inch baking dish.

Fruit Cocktail PieVery easy, quick, and good for special occasions. Combine filling ingredients, pour into shell and bake at 350 degrees F. Cool and serve with whipping cream.

Chestnut ChickenFancy enough for a dinner party. This recipe can be prepared on a moment's notice if you just keep the ingredients on hand. My family loves it and guests think I'm a gourmet cook! You can easily add a couple more chicken breasts if you need to stretch it a little.

Creamy Garden CarrotsPeel and slice carrots. In medium sauce pan melt the butter. Add carrots, half and half, salt, and pepper. Heat just to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 6 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender.

KFC Chicken SpicesI just found this, but haven't tried this yet. I'm just passing this on for anybody who wants to try it. A little bit more than the 11 spices and herbs. LOL.

One Pan Pot RoastPre-heat oven to 325 degrees F. Mix the soups, Gravy Master and water together in the bottom of a large, roasting pan (I use a foil pan and put it on a cookie sheet, so it doesn't bend when you try to put it in the oven).
