When I was visiting, I was asked to walk my granddaughter to her school bus stop one morning. As we were walking, my daughter drove by and slowed down, rolled down her window and said "Hey little girl, I sure do like those pink shoes."

Disguise Carrots with Sweet PotatoesIt is good to mix carrots and sweet potatoes with sugar free whipped cream on top of them. It is really good and a way to disguise carrots.

Have Kids Make School Lunches The Night BeforeI have my children make their own lunches every evening, before supper. The lunch boxes then go in the fridge, and it's a breeze getting them out the door the next morning.

Mix Brand Name Products With GenericAt least once a month, name brand stuff is on sale. I buy brand name products like; dish liquid, laundry soap, cereal; then I mix it with my generic. I put 3/4 of generic and 1/4 of brand name.

Sew Sheet Clips Directly to a MattressFor my queen size bed I found that the corners of the sheets were always coming loose during the night. So I go some of these elastic things that have the clips on either end that you clip on the sheet at the corners.

Shop Restaurant Supply StoresA restaurant supply store is different than a warehouse-type store like Costco. The one I shop at is called Cash and Carry. These allow anyone to purchase without a card. The difference with restaurant supply is that they cater to restaurant owners.

Use a Kleenex Box for Storing ReceiptsI am a very disorganized person, so, during the year, I stuff all my bills, receipts, and other papers needed for income taxes into an empty Kleenex box. Then I don't have to hunt for them all over the house.
