Scan Bulky Items for Your Scrapbook

If you don't want to put bulky items in your scrapbook, scan them and cut them out. My daughter did this with some game coins, and some Mexican coins, from our cruise earlier this month.

Good idea. Decorative, without the fuss of the actual heavy item.

Great idea. Or you can simply use your digital camera and print out a photo (on ordinary or photo paper)? More households have cameras then scanner, and you'll have much more control with a camera. For example, very shiny objects like coins don't scan well because of the direct lighting causes reflection.

Thick objects like teddy bears also cannot be put on a scanner. A camera allows zooming, different lighting and different angles. Just use a white background.

Excellent idea, never thought of that.
