Silver Tip Medal for All Time! 218 Tips

I love all you creative folks and I am really discovering my love for making beautiful memory journals. I never realized how addicting it can be to create with paper. I have more time now to devote to paper crafting, since I am done with my online college studies.

At 56 years young, I have just earned my Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Health Psychology. I cannot wait to begin work as a case manager at a mental health facility.

I have loved this site for years and years. I always go here to find answers or just to read. The reason I love this site is that it is so real and helpful.

Now that I have am through with college, I will be on here more. Love to all and I love reading all your posts and stories.

Homemade Door ScreenWe leave our front door open all the time but we need a screen because I hate flies. I put up a small pressure rod for a curtain at the top of our front door opening then I put one sheer white panel on the rod.

My Frugal Life: Passing the BuckI pass the buck on expensive laundry detergent, and use my favorite dish washing liquid that I do hand washing in anyway. I use the extra money from not buying the laundry detergent and pass the buck over to fabric softener.

Sparkle (Florida White Rabbit)Here is Sparkle playing with the family and watching the dogs watch her. She is so adorable, our daughter rescued her from the local animal shelter. Sparkle is very affectionate and loves to be stroked and told how pretty she is.

Hand holding a red pet rock with googly eyes

Pet RocksI always get a smile on my face when I see these around the house, their big painted on smiles and google eyes are so adorable. I get all my supplies except for the rocks at Walmart.

My Frugal Life: Tips For SpringHappy Spring Everyone! Make dry erase boards of any size out of cardboard covered with clear wrapping tape. I have heart that white contact paper works too but I like to stick with the clear wrapping tape.

Food: The Final FrontierYes, I am an old school Star Trek fan. "These are the voyages of the . . ." Oh ok, I will come back down to Earth for a moment and talk about how I am feeding my family.

My Frugal Life: Teaching Children About ToysThe last time I was at Walmart with my younger group of kids/neighbors, I noticed they don't seem to realize that a huge package with four small useless toys in it would be a waste of their hard earned dollar.
