Cookies baking in the oven.

Stress Free Holiday BakingI am in my 60s, and have been baking since I can remember. Every holiday season, I churn out many dozens of cookies for gifts for neighbors, friends and relatives. People ask for certain types every year.

No Spackle Hole RepairOne day while painting a room with latex paint, I noticed that larger drops of paint, when left to dry, became pliable like a putty. I hit on the idea that this half dried paint could be rolled into a a tiny ball and smashed into a hole left by a picture hanger. It worked. Even if you need to lightly sand smooth, the color is through and through.

Seasonal Clothespin Wreaths - red, white, and blue wreath

Seasonal Clothespin WreathsThis craft was born out of a need to fill my time while not spending a ton of money on supplies! I think I speak for many who were and still are staying home during the pandemic.

Prevent Mold and Mildew on Shower Curtain Liners - liner clipped to the side wall of the shower

Prevent Mold and Mildew on Shower Curtain LinersIf you have a shower curtain or liner that comes in contact with the side of your shower stall or tub while it dries, you have probably noticed that where it makes contact is where you see mold and mildew. Sort Laundry As You GoSo as to run full loads only in my washing machine, which is most efficient, I keep 2 popup hampers in my bathroom closet. One has a little hanging tag marked "Lights", and the other "Darks". As I take off my clothes, they are put into the appropriate hamper. When one is full, I do a load of laundry.

Farmhouse Style Signs - finished sign over the kitchen cabinets

Farmhouse Style SignsI have been wanting a big farmhouse style sign to put in my kitchen over my cabinets. Online there are many choices, but the ones that really catch my eye are 85 to 100 dollars or more. I just knew I could do it myself, and I did! Wait til you see the results.
