Cheese StrataGrease 9x13 inch glass pan. Layer bread in bottom of pan; place cheese and meat over top. Heat remaining ingredients together and pour over top. Place in refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until firm.

Making Yard More Interesting?We have a very plain back yard. Nothing special. Burning Bush Has No Leaves?We planted 2 dwarf burning bushes in March right before our record rainfall of the year. Both plants' root balls sat basically underwater for a week, one worse than the other. The one developed leaves and seems fine but the other never developed leaves although it is covered in buds that never opened. We cut a stem and it is green inside and still seems to be alive.
Can't Recycle Plastic Containers?I am overrun with plastic containers that aren't recyclable in my area (we only can recycle #1 and #2 plastics). Keeping Puppy Out Of Car?We have a 5 month old female beagle puppy (outdoor only) who thinks it is her duty and right to get into our cars every time we open the door. Reinforcing Leather Gloves?Does anyone have any ideas for making leather gloves last longer? I have two pairs, one for gardening and one for working in the barn. The first things that go are the tips of the fingers on my right hand. Since I always buy gloves that fit snug (I hate loose gloves) there is no room for me to just sew across the top of the fingers. Lilac Bushes Look Wilted?I bought 2 lilac shrubs when all the flowers went on clearance at Walmart. They looked fine when I bought them and brought them home.
