I receive a couple of e-catalogues and an item for sale in one of them simply floored me. They're asking $99.00 - $249.00 plus shipping, for just ONE wine bottle candle hurricane lamp! Oh my!

Add Glittery Polish to Bargain Cocktail RingPicked up a bargain cocktail ring at H and M, but it was a bit too shiny. I added some interest by putting on some blackish glittery nail polish on the work around the stone. Now it look likes marcasite and a much more expensive ring!

Canning Equipment And Instructions As GiftI've noticed queries for present ideas. Now this wouldn't be for every couple, but definitely would be great for some: A canning pot, the Ball Blue canning and freezing book, and a dozen canning jars with lids, plus lid fisher, etc., if desired.

Scavenger Hunt for a Large GiftUp until last year when my sons turned 25 and 26, I would have a scavenger hunt for the last (biggest) gift. I would make 5 clues (rhyming, of course). One would lead to the next and so on until they finally had to figure out the hiding place.
