Power Pro Riding Lawn Mower Won't Start?I have an 18 hp Power Pro riding mower (MTD) which doesn't start. I bought it at a yard sale, replaced battery with a new one rated for this hp, but it didn't start. I replaced the starter switch, plugs, cleaned all contacts/switches, put in new fuel and filter. I jumped the solenoid since the ignition and on/off switch does nothing along with amp gauge on the dash not giving a reading. The starter barely clicks while the engine barely turns over 2 or 3 times. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Altering A Formal Dress Smaller?I was wondering how hard it would be to take in a dress if it's too big. I found my dream dress to wear at a special occasion next year but I have been losing weight. I'm afraid that if I order the dress a size or two too small then I might not lose all the weight. But if I order at my size I may have to alter it. The dress is silk and has boning in the bodice. Anyone know if that will be too hard to take in?

Green Slime on Surface of Pond?We have a green (almost a fluorescent green color) algae-like material covering the whole surface of our pond. If you put your hand in it to scoop it up it looks almost like a bunch of tiny seeds and slime that sticks to your hand. Each year it gets worse and this year there are actually plants growing about 6-10 inches high on it. It hardly resembles a pond any more. Does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it?

White Cookies with Marshmallow and Coconut Topping?I am looking for a cookie recipe that my family loves and I of course have lost! They are a delicious soft white cookie that you roll and cut out, then when they are baked and cooled they are topped with a marshmallow topping which is made from Knox unflavored gelatin. You then dip the topped cookies into coconut and let them dry. I have looked on the Knox site and no luck. We moved and I lost my favorite little recipe box. They have always been a holiday favorite. Help? Thanks so much.
