I finally figured it out! It's all about the technique. The 3 things you need are a toilet bowl brush, a decent cleaner in a spray bottle and a bucket.

Tip: Coasters and Pot Holders From Jeans

I cut up old jeans and make coasters and/or pot holders. I make four - 4 1/2 inch squares of the jeans, and one - 4 inch square of any cotton material, then sew around the square and sew from corner to corner so it has a big X through it.

Cheaper Instant OatmealMake your own premixed oatmeal using baggies. The pre-packaged is 34 cents a pack. The homemade is 19 cents! Use half cup of rolled oats with 2 teaspoons of powdered milk, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and one half teaspoon of cinnamon mix together put in bag.

Organizing Excess Materials for Sewing ProjectsYou can separate the materials into categories, cottons, silk, and such. If the material is cut, hang on hangers and use the garment protectors. You should then be able to store bolts of material in there as well.

Use Borax and Hot Water For FleasWash all bedding using hot water and 20 Mule Team Borax. While it's washing, sprinkle 20 Mule Team Borax on the mattress. Place a plastic zippered mattress cover on the mattress. The next time you change sheets, you can take the cover off and vacuum the mattress.

Pickled EggsWhen your pickle jar is empty, re-use to make pickled eggs! Hard boil eggs, let cool, peel them, and add to pickle jar. Leave them for 3-4 days, then dump pickle juice. They're ready to eat. Enjoy!
