Photo: Stop to Smell the RosesI took this photograph of myself on the webcam in my office a few days ago. The roses are fake, in fact, from a thrift store in the area for only a couple bucks. This is a reminder to stop and smell the roses, whether they're fake or real!

Scenery: Cross Of LightI got a new camera and have started taking pictures of sunsets. I tried to get a picture of one through my boys upstairs bedroom window, and this is what I got. We used it at both of my husband's parents funerals in their slide shows.

911 Memorial Made by ChildrenThe young children, on this day, September 11, 2010, made a tribute memorial to the twin towers and to the people who lost their lives on 9 11. Our cat, Tiger, liked it so much, he decided to take a cat nap on it.

 

Scenery: Jet Stream 9/11 TributeMy living room and patio face the direction of our small airport here, about fifteen miles away from my home in Richland, so I often see takeoff jet streams from the planes.

AMA Fundraiser: Climbing for GrandpaPictured is my dear daughter Melissa who participated in the American Lung Association's Fight For Air Arena Climb in Wilkes Barre, PA, in memory of my dad and her grandpa who recently passed away from lung disease.

Release Your Inner ChildI am 56 years old. Snoopy and the Peanut Gang are my favorite friends. Every day, I must buy a toy for myself because my childhood was so beautiful, it's so difficult to part with it.

 

Thrifty KoriThis is Kori, who lives about 40 miles from me. She is 14 years old and has already saved $3,500 toward her college education. She helped her neighbors "cowboy" and they gave her six calves that looked weak or had been rejected by their mothers.
