Hang foil & plastic bags on the vines. The hot pepper also works, good luck.

I know that this may sound strange (and a little gross) but my Dad would sprinkle urine around he perimeter of the garden where his grape vines were. He didn't have any more pests getting to his grapes.

We have a small vineyard in California. In one area we use grape vines for landscaping. To keep the deer away, my husband hand sprays the leaves with a red pepper liquid concentrate that he mixes with water. I think it came from a feed store or farm supply. It doesn't hurt them, but they sure don't like it. It is really hard to make yourself as it clogs the sprayer.
