Why will my Craftsman lawn tractor not start with a new battery, new spark plugs, new gas, gas filter, oil filter, and new oil?
I am moving in November from Rhode Island to Cape Cod, Massachusetts and need to bring a small root of my dad's lilac tree, my mom's peonies bulbs, and small roots of forsythias. Can someone tell me how to preserve these over the winter to be able to plant them at my new home in the spring please?
The AC outlet was replace in the room; but, the ceiling fan, television, and lights are still not working in the other room. Where is the problem coming from?

I just set a hot pan on top of a microfiber cloth, now I have melted microfiber all over the bottom of my good pan. Any ideas of how to get it off? I can't use the pan on the stove or it will ruin the stove too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
While mowing today with my Craftsmen 15.5 lawn tractor the engine all of a sudden wanted to over-rev big time. The only way I could stop it was to shut off the ignition or choke the carbuerator. Now when I start it, it wants to overrev from the get go. I cannot throttle it back Any advice appreciated.
I have a steel box lid stuck into another steel box tightly. I tried different ways, but have not been successful. Can someone help me with how to separate these two without any damage to both box and lid?
I dug up my elephant ear bulbs today and it appears that the original bulb that I planted has rotted or gone soft. Since this is my first year doing this, I'm not sure what else I should be seeing. Is the portion at the bottom of each stalk a new bulb?

A few days ago, I switched on the hallway light. The bulb flashed and went out. I was going to change it, but when I started to unscrew the burned out bulb, it came back and worked. The light worked for 2 days and went out again. Now it doesn't work at all. Kitchen light also not working.

I have a Singer heavy-duty sewing machine. The needle will not move up and down when I press on the foot speed control. I've changed the needle, rethreaded the machine, checked that the bobbin was inserted correctly and nothing. I can thread the bobbin, but after I'm done with the bobbin the machine will not sew.

Today I found a black Sharpie stain on the 25% pink silk lining of a real, vintage, white-colored blue-fox fur coat I own. If it happened in my possession it would have been made in the past week. I have a Sears Craftsman lawn tractor model number 917.270781 with a 19hp Briggs & Stratton engine and 42"cut. It was running fine until I ran over a few tree roots in my back yard. The blades did not touch them or stop, but the tractor shook hard from rolling over the roots and stalled. It will not start again.
I have tried everything to get rid of this yellowing in certain parts of the floor, mainly around the edges. When it's light out you see these stains. When it starts to get a little darker the stains disappear. I have tried Armstrong's stripper and a few other things. Anyone have any suggestions?

The power in 3 rooms of my home has been blinking and turning off and on. Last night they went off and did not come back on. I checked the breaker. My Toro 17-38 axle worked fine til I ran out of fuel. I cleaned the dirty fuel tank and replaced the fuel filter. I turned the air vent on top of the motor counterclockwise 2.5 turns to see fuel sloshing in the air in take? On starting the air vent spins about .5 - 1 turn then stops with a clunk.

I planted my tree in the ground about 1.5 years ago and I believe I overwatered it. As a result the leaves browned and have since all fallen off. The branches are still green and I actually noticed some new leaves started to come up, but they have since stopped growing.

I love hanging our clothes outside to dry, but don't like stiff jeans. My late mother-in-law taught me to turn them inside out when I hung them on the clothes line. They end up soft and wrinkle free. It also helps to slow down the fading of the jeans.
I have been very successful with the above bulbs. I put some in the ground and some in a pot doing nothing else and all have flourished beautifully and are still flowering. My question is, firstly do I lift them before they have finished flowering and once lifted how do I look after the bulbs over the winter?
I have some old pieces that are broken one has a hand off one piece and one is a small head. I can handle the flat pieces but, the head and the hand do not set even though I stand there and hold it for awhile. How can I stablize the piece for maybe an hour or so to let it dry and set?
I shut off the breaker that runs two bathrooms to replace an outlet and two switches, nothing was wrong with them just updating. I know they are wired correctly because I took the wires off and put them on the same way. When I turned the breaker on nothing was working except the green light on the GFCI.
Any vegetable plant I tried to grow will grow very healthy then there are no fruits. When I extract the plant from the root, the root is like a huge bundle of swollen knots. I tried live good nematodes to eliminate, with no good results. Now I am trying zinnias. I could do with help and advice.
