Garden: Raised Veggie Garden On Deck

Raised Veggie Garden On Deck

Raised Veggie Garden On Deck

Here is my husband's "veggie garden on the deck", built entirely from recycled pallets. Isn't he clever, we are growing lettuce, cabbage, onions, carrots and spinach!

I've had fantasies of doing that if I ever had to move to an apartment! I think you're both brilliant!

great idea and green at the same time
I have wondered how to get tulips going
so this is what I am going to do so
I can see them put them up!!!

Good idea but be careful with recycled pallets. They are made with scrub wood and sometimes come from foreign wood and have boring bugs in them that could get into your property. My husband used some to make some crafts out of and ended throwing all his handywork out and fumigating the workshop.

Do you loan him out? Although it's quite a way from Australia to Oregon so that probably wouldn't work. Looks great! Thanks for the idea. =(^.^)=

Garden: Container Gardening with a Full Deck (Copperas Cove, TX)

Row of Containers for Plants on DeckI am getting older and working on my knees to garden is getting harder for me so I studied up on container gardening and added these colorful items to my deck. When the plants flower and ripen, it will add much more color.
