We were looking for a Medium to Large dog for a while, and I'm picky. I've always wanted a Hunting Dog Mix, and Ive wanted one from a shelter/rescue/pound, but they are few and far between. We were lucky when we stopped by the Asheville Humane society, they had just what I was looking for, Bender!
He loves collecting socks, preferably men's dress socks. Bender Oak is a great little guy. I'm a little isolated, so he's my way of getting out and meeting people, exercising, and enjoying life. And all he asks for in return is scratches on his haunches and the occasional junk food treat.
