So I went and measured the soles of our shoes and found that - consistently - from toe to heel all the shoes and slippers measured an exact 2" more than the stated size of each shoe; i.e. size 8 was 10"; size 7 was 9" and mine(bigfoot) size 9 is ll inches. My daughter and granddaughters didn't believe it, so they measured their own footwear and it turned out Grandma was right! Hah! Hope this helps, you gave us an afternoon of fun, so we thank you.
