I was just asking my Realtor about being safe with a septic tank on a property I am trying to buy & she said that products have a come a long long way since that was the case years ago, when things weren't as safe.

Never heard of anyone having problems with Dawn in the septic tanks. I had mine about 10yrs. and my sister has had hers about 18 yrs. we both use Dawn and have not had any problems. Knock on wood.
