For practical things: a cookbook, a photo album, a scrap book and/or things to use for scrap booking, thank you notes, measuring spoon, measuring cups, wooden spoons, a hot mitt, etc.
For more in a joking manner: a bottle of aspirin (for a headache),a bottle filled with tic tacs or red hots and put a label on it that says birth control pills, a rolling pin put a tag on it that says, "To keep him in line", a pillow for her to sit on (sore bottom), etc. Good luck!
To be a joke: *gift cards for fast food places ( due to burnt dinners)

*any cleaning supply! (toilet bowl cleaner, glass cleaner, sponges.. etc.)
Since its from the brides maids, "coupons" for them to help her with housework and what not :)
For a cruise, motion sickness pills, sunny beach suntan lotion, Mexico (water).
