This recipe sounds delicious. BUT, here is a version that is half as expensive and about 1/3 the calories.
1 pkg of chocolate sandwich cookies.
12 oz frozen whipped topping
1/2 gal softened ice cream
Crush the cookies, set aside about 1/3 cups crushed cookies, mix remaining cookies with the thawed whipped topping. spread in 9 X 13 pan, cover with the softened ice cream Sprinkle reserved cookie crumbs over ice cream. Freeze and use as needed for fast desert.
At Christmas time I like to use the peppermint stick ice cream, and for St Patricks day use mint with chocolate swirl. You can use your imagination.
