Country Fried Potatoes

You can substitute cayenne powder for the paprika if you want some spicy heat ;-)

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • Advertisement

  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika

Directions:

Heat oil over medium high heat in a large skillet; add garlic and onions and cook until onions are slightly softened, stirring often.

Turn down to medium heat; add potatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are golden brown. Season with the salt, pepper, and paprika and serve.

Are you using raw potatoes or boiled?

I use raw, Squirrley. I suppose you could use cooked but the texture wouldn't be the same. :-)
