I'm turning fifteen in August! I'm acually Mexican but, I am not having a quince, instead I'm having a party at home. So, movies, dance party, bonfire, and a nice but not fancy dinner. :)

My girlfriend is turning 15 and I am planning a surprise party for her, but I don't know what to do. I'm really bad at planning parties.

I need fun but inexpensive ideas for her party. I really want her to have a great birthday.

Awww...you sound like a good friend to invite her favorite friends to a party.

I don't know how shy she is but here are a few idea's..

I'd definitely make a big poster board with the title:
'Why you so special'
Then have little colored post it notes (Staples and others sell really cute ones!) and pens for friends to write their answers and stick them to the poster.

If you can get some pics of her as a little child (get the CUTEST ones so she isn't embarrassed) you can also post them around the room or on the table or make a sign that says Happy Birthday- You must have been a beautiful baby.

You can make a little quiz of questions and print multiple copies of it and play a little game with attendees.

The game would have a number of questions about your birthday girl and you'd ask them to answer them.
Questions like:
WHERE was I born?
What color eyes do I have?
What's my favorite song/singer/food/dessert/school subject/etc...

personalize it to her interests and hobbies (check her bedroom walls for idea's)

Be careful that the questions aren't too hard that NO ONE knows the answers!

Then every one stands up while you read off the first question.

Whoever gets the correct answer stays up and the incorrect sits down. Eventually only one person should be standing and they win some silly, funny prize like a paper doll of your birthday girl (tape her picture to a piece of stiffer cardboard and cut it out) or just give her them a yellow rose (which signifies FRIENDSHIP)

Or you can ask each friend to bring an index card with one memory of some fun time with your birthday girl OR how they met. They turn them in at the beginning of the party and you will read them aloud at the party and everyone will need to guess WHO WROTE IT.

Of course, her favorite music and possibly a lip sinc contest, a bunch of cheap watercolor trays and better watercolor paper for an artistic portrait painting....of the birthday girl or whatever is good for laughs too!

Another idea is to provide some ice cream and lots of fun toppings and everyone makes their own "Signature Ice Cream".

What about a bowling party? Both genders would like that.

It's your birthday. What do YOU like to do? And make a party around your preferences. For instance, if you like to cook, hold a pizza party (where everyone makes their own with toppings you all prepare / slice).

If you love music and dancing, ask everyone to bring their favourites and clean space in your house for people to dance. You get the idea ....

Do some discreet asking among your friends to find out what sort of activities appeal to them. Then you could select one or two and make a group booking. Or you could go for something completely out of the usual - paintballing, orienteering, quad bike racing - these are just ideas to set you thinking outside of the box!

Play Dictionary or Pictionary with teams competing against each other. Song titles charades would be fun, too. Serve hamburgers with lots of toppings and ice cream sundaes.

Name that tune---playing only a few notes of favorite songs--- would also be great.

It does work but I have had better luck with the plastic dryer balls. The aluminum foil always seems to become a tight ball over time, which doesn't seem like it would be as good for eliminating the static.

You will have to have it after Easter. You will have very few people coming Holy Week. After Easter you can have all the chocolate and candy you want. Many people give those things up for Lent.

I'd announce it now and see how many people can actually make it given the date, then plan from there. You could have a crafting party that is Easter based.

It'd be fun to do an Easter Hunt! But did you want to do Easter related activities? Or a pool party? Movie party? Slumber party? Bowling!

Why not get a piñata, have a BBQ, play lots of little kids games like you used to when you were little. E.g. Musical statues and so on that is what I did for my 15th (I am now 16). Have fun!

You can do laser tag, paint ball and maybe a movie.

I am turning 15 years old on June 4th and I don't know what to do. I love to do stuff with my friends and one of my friends lives in a different town so that is one reason I want to have a birthday party.

Why not chuck a birthday party that way your friend can come too? It could be a massive party with all your friends and you could even let them help you plan it since it is not that far away.
