Vegetables to Plant in July

What kinds of vegetable plants can I start planting in July. We have had a really hot and dry spring and the summer started out to be even drier.

Greenbeans are easy. You can also take cuttings and root tomatoes. Both are likely to produce at least picking before the end of the season if you start early in the month. These are not typically thought of as vegetables, but a lot of herbs do well with little water.

You can still plant green beans, also cucumbers and zukes.
