Tips for cooking when camping.
- Apply cooking oil to your camp grill to help prevent food from sticking to it.
- If you are cooking it in a pot, make sure to put the lid on it.
- The food will cook faster and it will help keep dirt and insects out of your meal.
- Use aluminum foil to cook items like potatoes and other vegetables on the grill. Just wrap them up with a little butter and cook until done.

IF YOU USE CASTIRON COOKING EQUIPMENT YOU CAN RE-SEASON AFTER USE; AFTER CLEANING CASTIRON AFTER A MEAL, SEASON WITH A GOOD COAT OF OIL; WHEN YOU MAKE A CAMPFIRE, JUST PLACE THE CASTIRON INTO THE CAMPFIRE; IN THE MORNING AFTER THE CAMPFIRE HAS DIED DOWN, YOU WILL HAVE RE-SEASON CASTIRON COOKING EQUIPMENT.

When I am taking meat camping i always par boil my chix and ribs and freeze them and our other meats. This helps shorten the cooking time plus have added cold to the coolers. Gets you at least acouple of meals and helps save on ice. We aways eat alot while camping. But we love every minute of it

If you rub liquid dish detergent to the outside of your pots or pans the black will not stick to them. When you wash the item just wipe the outside and the black will be gone.
