I saw an article in the paper about using private on-line credit cards when purchasing on-line. They are impossible for thieves to steal any info. from. I've searched and can't find anything. Does anyone have any info? Thanks.
My discover card offers a separate, special credit card to be used online.

No, it's not a service in actuality. It's an actual on-line credit card that is impenetrable by thieves. You have a credit card # like any other card. I won't use Paypal or services like that. They have to many people able to break into them & steal info.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll keep it in mind. I'm still looking for the on-line thing.

I don't know about that, but if your really concerned than you can do what i do. If you have any CVS or walgreens stores or any major retail stores like that, they carry prepaid credit cards, i get the visa vanilla, and etc. they have a 5 dollar fee and you don't have to worry about anyone cleaning out your bank account. I used the last one on amazon so they work just fine. hope this helps
