Emergency Caulk For Holes In The Wall

I recently moved a picture in my dining room. There were nail holes left in the wall. We had guests coming for dinner. I was out of caulk, so I used white toothpaste, dabbed it with a small amount of left over wall color paint. Worked great until I went to town the next time and bought caulk.

White-out that's gotten too thick to use works well on white walls, too.
