Use Pocket Planner Covers For Checkbooks

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 263 Posts

All through the year when out shopping, I keep an eye out for those "pocket planners". They always have a calendar for the year and maybe a place for a few addresses. They can be picked up as cheaply as $1.00 but can be more expensive in some stores. I usually watch for Country Folk Art designs or Nature pictures. I don't really care to use them as what they're made for, but I use the vinyl and picture part for checkbook covers instead of having to settle for the dull and undesirable ones that usually come free with your boxed checks.

The little pocket calendars are so fun to have. I keep the covers from them. They are clear and make great waterproof recipe holders, document holders, or bookmarks, when you put a picture your child colored inside of them.

Great idea! For those little owners manuals one gets with electronic gizmos too!
