I have a dark and pigmented skin. Is there any way to improve my complexion and skin texture. Preferably suggest some homemade masks. Please help!

Just FYI - I love Avon too, but their Beyond Color product did not work for me. I was so hoping it would because I heard such wonderful things about it.

At Dollar General, there is a skin bleaching skin creme, Dr. Palmers, in a small white jar, with sun screen and moisturizers, that I have used for 15 yrs. successfully to remove "brown spots" from aging. My black friend uses it also, but must be careful to use
a glove to apply and to apply evenly, only on one area a night, covering with kleenex tissue while waiting for it to be absorbed. Stay out of the sun as much as possible.I understand that Michael Jackson used this several times a day all over his body, like body lotion, and why he kept himself covered from the sun, using umbrellas often, if you'll remember. I believe Elizabeth Taylor uses it also. This is likely what turned the too fair and white.

Be careful and know when to stop. Do not use it on the soles of your feet, because heels have tough skin. Do not get it into your eyes, or use around the eyes or inside the mouth, following all warnings on the label. Wash hands after using. It takes about two months to work on my brown spots, if I apply daily after a bath. Good luck and God bless you. : )

Avon rep said that the Avon web site doesn't list all products. Phew! For a min. I thought they'd discotinued my Beyond Color sticks.

I don't know if it would help or not, but I just read about a facial using honey. You spread regular honey on your face, leave it on for 5 minutes, then wash it off. It's supposed to tighten the pores, or something like that. I did it one time, and my face felt really good. It's worth a try, I guess. Good luck and God bless you!

cocoa butter, this is readily available and is great for restoring the skin.

No solution, only some suggestions:
Use sunblock to prevent future problems.
You might want to check out Avon's cosmetic cover ups. "Beyond Color, wet/dry foundation and concealer."
My Avon rep told me there is a stronger cover up, in their assortment, but I don't recall the name. Might be "Personal Match".
I keep mine in the freezer (rep's suggestion), because it's very creamy and has ocasionally broken off when sharpening. Doesn't need to defrost before using. Buy the sharpener recommended for it as this is a fat crayon type of delivery system. It's not greasy, and blends nicely. Doesn't feel heavy. I get a lot of use out of a stick. Reasonably priced.

Possible bad news, I searched the Avon site to include a picture and none came up. Either they rotate their 'net offerings like the booklets, or it's been discontinued. However, the reps have a large catalogue that lists all of the products, so even if it's not in the cute little booklet, it's still available.

If these sticks are discontinued, I am going to be very upset. It was a great product and I can't stand most cover ups as they feel thick, like mud. Will have to check out the other cover up that the rep suggested when my supply is down.
