I am trying to come up with an idea for favors for a women's retreat using a 2 inch candle. Any suggestions? I thought about wrapping it in netting, but can't think of a cute saying for it.

Have you ever heard the Kathy Troccoli song about light your world? I THINK its called carry your candle or "go light your world". That song has many lines in it that you could use. Maybe just listening to the song will inspire you!

Use a concordance and look up "light" There are lots of scriptures using that word.

Wrap gold or silver wire around votive. Use a few charms with beads interspersed on the wire. Tie with raffia.

If you can gleen some wall paper sample books, you could cut a piece to go around the middle..if the pattern isn't to dark, write on it, using the words light, fire, glow..if this is a Christian Womens retreat, why not use a passage of scripture with one or more of those words? You could also wrap a piece of fabric around the middle first and then a piece of paper cut with a decorative edge, slightly smaller then the fabric and write on the paper..Hope this makes sense :0)
